Meet the team.
RICHARD CLARK (retired 2014): In 1970 Richard Clark, the current Managing Director of the company, joined the firm. His background in the timber industry started in 1957 in England in the port of Hull in Yorkshire. Richard began handling Finnish and Canadian timber species in the manufacture of greenhouses, windows and wooden guttering. In 1977 Richard took over the running of Trend Timbers. During the next few years he added many more world timbers to the range, from Africa, South America, New Guinea, North America and Europe. Richard retired from full-time work on 1st Jan 2013 but still attends wood shows for Trend and can be found occasionally around the timber yard.
ADRIAN CLARK: Adrian, Richard's eldest son, joined the firm in 1987 and through his influence Trend Timbers has added more Australian timbers to the range. He has also developed the woodturning equipment product lines to include, lathes, chucks, tools , timber blanks and the jet range of woodworking machinery.
ADAM MACDONALD: Adam has been with Trend for over 20 years. Adam pulls out most of the yard orders, dresses timber and attends to walk in retail customers as well.
JESSE CLARK: Adrian's son Jesse joined the Trend team in 2014. Jesse dresses timber, serves retail customers, manages our deliveries in the Sydney metro area and is quickly learning machinery sales.
SAM CLARK: Adrian's wife Sam joined Trend in 2011 to run the office and associated services.
