This lathe was designed at the request of pen turners who wanted a sturdy, dedicated machine for their craft.
This scaled-down, basic mini lathe is constructed of cast iron so vibration is not a factor, unlike other lathes made of aluminium.
The machine has 5 speed ranges that cover the bases for boring barrel holes, roughing out pen blanks etc.
Perfect for all your short spindle turning requirements and a great entry level wood lathe!
The lathe includes a live centre, tool rest, knock-out bar, and wrenches on an M30x3.5mm Spindle Thread.
