Sherwood Polyurethane Hose is constructed with 0.6mm heavy-duty walls and a copper wire helix to deliver tough, long-lasting performance. PU is significantly more abrasion-resistant than PVC, which makes it the natural choice for applications where the ducting will be moved from machine to machine across unfinished flooring.
With lower internal friction than standard PVC or polyethylene equivalents, it is the easiest way to upgrade the overall efficiency of your existing extraction setup. Perfect for the rigours of CNC machining and any situation that demands high performance extraction performance.
PVC and polyethylene can become brittle over time. This is because it contains plasticiser to make it more flexible. However, the plasticiser wears away over time, making the hose prone to cracking. By contrast, polyurethane displays superior resistance to flex-induced cracking. And with its smoother surface, PU has less internal friction, boosting the efficiency of your extraction setup.
