Curly Rock Maple Board — 1000 × 260 × 24mm

A single wide board of curly maple, 1000mm long and 260mm across, matched in size to Board 1 and cut from the same parcel. Soft, flowing fiddleback across the whole face with a run of cat’s-paw markings down the centre.

The split — read this before you buy

There is a thin split running in from one end of the board, roughly 350mm long, following the grain. Working around it leaves a clear section roughly 650mm long at full width, or it can be filled and the full length kept.

Colour and grain

• Colour: pale cream with a faint honey warmth.
• Figure: fiddleback curl the full length, with cat’s-paw markings through the centre.
• Texture: fine and even.

1000 × 260 × 24mm. Measured off the board, not nominal.
