Why a gift card is a reasonable answer
Woodworkers are difficult to buy for, and most of them will tell you so. They already own the tools, they have opinions about the ones they do not own, and a well-meant gift that misses tends to end up in somebody else’s toolbox. A gift card sidesteps all of it. How it works

Any remaining balance stays on the card and is tracked automatically, so it does not have to be spent in one go. The code is not tied to an email address — whoever holds the number can use it.
Delivery
Instant email delivery once the order is paid. You can also pick a date and we will schedule it for you — set it for the morning of the sixth and forget about it.

We have been a specialty timber merchant since 1969, now in our third and fourth generation. We stock species most yards do not carry, we cut to order, and we spend a good part of every week talking people through what to use for a particular job.
