Some tools need to sharpened with the wheel spinning towards the user, and others with the wheel spinning away. With the new Tormek Rotating Base, rotating the machine 180° is quick and easy to get the best sharpening direction.

It also makes it simple to switch from sharpening to honing!

A priority during the design process has been to make the Rotating Base as thin as possible in order not to affect the working height. The rubber feet ensures it remains steady during sharpening.
