Skip Dressed = Lightly machined on both faces. Not a fully dressed face but enough to see some of the grain.
Blackbutt is a large Australian hardwood that is commonly used for structural and exterior applications. Blackbutt has an even texture. The grain can be interlocked but it is generally straight, making it appealing for interior use applications such as flooring and joinery. The heartwood ranges from golden yellow to pale brown, although occasionally a slight pinkish colour may be present. Gum veins can be common in this species.

Sizes and Colour:
May vary due to being a natural product, for larger quantities inquiry is key for availability.
When deciding on sizing required, it’s always better to allow larger specifications than you need, you can always remove more stock, you can’t add it back on later.
For projects larger than the available sizing, consider laminating multiple wood blanks to achieve your desired stock size.
