These blackbutt boards come DAR (dressed all round), and we sell them as six individual boards. Each one measures 285mm wide and 42mm thick, so it is ready for the bench. NSW Blackbutt (Eucalyptus pilularis) is a well-known Australian hardwood. This stock also shows the species’ straight grain and pale straw to pink-brown colour.

Lengths vary, so please check the photos. Each board carries a chalk letter from A to F. First, pick the board you want from the list above. Then we send you that exact board.

Photo two shows the boards standing side by side with each length marked. As a result, you can see the whole run before you order. The grain runs straight through the parcel. However, several boards show natural gum veins and darker streaks. For example, board D carries a knot and board B has an open gum vein. These features are natural to the species, and the photos show them clearly.
