Albizia Wood Blanks are a new edition to the Trend Timbers range of available species and is sourced from South America.
This timbers chocolate-brown heartwood and yellow sapwood create an interesting natural contrast of tones. Therefore it pairs well with lighter coloured species.
When the sapwood is removed, it can have a visual likeness to both Walnut and Blackwood and is often used to supplement these species when availability is low.
Lightweight for its durability makes it an easy species to wood-turn, create joinery and cabinetry, for instance.
Sizes and Colour:
May vary due to being a natural product, for larger quantities inquiry is key for availability.
While deciding on sizing required, it’s always better to allow larger specifications than you need, you can always remove more stock, you can’t add it back on later.
For projects larger than the available sizing, consider laminating multiple wood blanks to achieve your desired stock size.
All timber is sourced from sustainable and ecologically friendly sources and is kiln dried to Australian Quality Standards.
