Get that polished finish on the bevel of you tool to get that ultra sharp edge, after already being put over the sharpening stone. With a few drops of light machine oil on the honing wheel apply fresh honing compound. Work the honing compound into the leather. Do not let the compound dry, apply more oil if necessary. One application lasts for 5-10 tools.
