Flame Rosewood is the absolute prime form that New Guinea Rosewood comes in, quite rare yet highly sought after due to its likeness to fiery flames giving any project that flare all serious woodworking projects deserve.

Beautiful orangey-red patterns with the occasional streaks of darker tones make this incredibly unique and sought after.

Not just for its appearance however as NG Rosewood is highly useable across most woodworking disciplines from woodturning to woodcarving, joinery and cabinetry and even light structural applications. It performs well in the elements and is even used from time to time for boat building applications.

The  easy workability of the Flame Rosewood makes it the perfect species for both the newcomer and seasoned craftsman!

Sizes and Colour:

May vary due to being a natural product, for larger quantities inquiry is key for availability.

When deciding on sizing required, it’s always better to allow larger specifications than you need, you can always remove more stock, you can’t add it back on later.

For projects larger than the available sizing, consider laminating multiple wood blanks to achieve your desired stock size.
