Premium Camphor Laurel (Cinnamomum camphorum) square bowl blanks, cut and ready for the lathe. These blanks are ideal for turning bowls, platters, shallow dishes, and decorative pieces.

About Camphor Laurel

One of Australia’s most popular turning timbers. Camphor Laurel is prized for its beautiful colour variation — from pale honey tones through to rich reds and deep browns, often within the same piece. The timber has a distinctive camphor scent when freshly cut or turned, and finishes to a smooth, lustrous surface.

A Note on Our Wood Products

Please remember that the photos you see are indicative only. As a beautiful, natural material, wood inherently varies in grain, colour, and figure. While we meticulously select outstanding pieces to send your way, each item will possess its own unique charm. We believe these natural variations are part of what makes our wood products so special and truly one-of-a-kind.

Kiln dried and ready to work

All of our timber is kiln dried to Australian standards, so it arrives stable and ready to be worked.

Because timber is a natural product, not all stock is ready to send immediately. Occasionally we need to mill your timber to the size you’ve specified before dispatch.
